Our client, a prominent hospitality provider with multiple properties, aimed to enhance the efficiency and user experience of its online portal. The client has five properties located at Kanakapura road, Ramanagara, Sakleshpur, Kundapura and Nandi hills in Karnataka. Operating in a competitive industry, the client needed a robust system to manage bookings, streamline operations, and optimize various facets of their business.
Client Objectives
- A lightning-fast, SEO-friendly portal that allows easy property and content management.
- A booking engine with separate payment gateways, flexible pricing, discount management, and customizable booking details.
- Generate and send customized quotations, reuse email templates, and manage communications seamlessly.
- Efficiently manage check-ins, room allocations, and a la carte orders with the ability to edit food counts.
- Facilitate bookings for additional services, generate order receipts, and integrate payments into the final invoice.
- Generate and print invoices, compatibility with printers, and a downloadable PDF format for customer convenience.
- Comprehensive accounting dashboards with filters for revenue, expenses, and profit, allowing property-wise insights.

Our App Development Approach
- Discover: This stage involved understanding the client’s needs and challenges. Through discovery calls, we got to know the client's requirements. Quantitative and qualitative research was conducted, and critical insights were drawn.
- Ideation: At this stage, a project plan was developed with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. A hybrid mobile app development framework, React Native, was chosen.
- Design and Development: The wireframes and prototypes for the app's user interface were created. The app architecture was designed after considering the web and native components. The app was developed using hybrid technology (React Native), compatible with Google Play Store and Apple Store. Project management features like task tracking, collaboration, and reporting were also implemented.
- Integration: Integrated external APIs or third-party services for additional functionalities. Our team also ensured seamless communication between the hybrid app and the device's native capabilities at this stage.
- Testing: Thorough testing was conducted on various devices and platforms to identify and fix issues. Both the web-based and native components of the hybrid app were tested to ensure flawless execution.
- Deployment: Here, the hybrid app was packaged for distribution on app stores (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play) by meticulously following the guidelines for submitting and publishing the app on each platform.
- Feedback and Iteration:This stage involved gathering user feedback after the initial release to identify areas for improvement. Based on the feedback garnered, additional features were added, and existing ones were refined.
